So a funny thing happened to me yesterday and I had to blog about it. I get so bored of my own blogs so I always take to long of a hiatus (sp?) Plus Kalaya is so funny these days that it would feel more like a homage to Kalaya I'm sure. So yesterday I took Kalaya and Cy to Whole Foods to get some Chia seeds. I had the kids in a shopping cart and noticed there was a farmers market going on in the parking lot. So I kept them in the cart to keep them contained while I went through the market. I saw some yummy looking strawberries so I put the shopping cart with my kids in it in a spot I thought they would be safe and out of the way while I went to buy the strawberries. While I was engrossed in which strawberries looked the best I hear a woman yelling "whose kids are these?Whose shopping cart is this?" I turned and looked and saw that the shopping cart did not stay where I put it and kept rolling down the lane. Ps Kalaya never said anything as the cart went rolling away she was standing up steering the whole time. The shopping cart rolled into the back of a news cast woman trying to do a news cast when this run away shopping cart invaded the scene. SOOOOO embarassing! I was like "sorry I was trying to invade your news cast to get my children on tv!" I didn't know what else to say it I was so embarassed. Then she really wanted to do a shot with my kids. So we stood there waiting to get the tv camera up but I was standing away from the kids because I was looking pretty greasy to be on tv and didn't want to be in the shot..Cy kept looking at the woman and looking at me and saying mom...mom....moooooooooooooooooooooooooooooommmmmmm! And started screaming his head off so he ruined their 5 minutes of fame on tv but at least I have a funny story to tell?!?

Kalaya the story teller

So last night Kalaya wouldn't go to sleep so we knew the only way we were going to get some sleep was to let her sleep in bed with us. As we were laying in bed she proceeded to tell us this story about her pre-school that day. Her Boyfriend Jackson gave her a million dollars but the mean teachers wouldn't let her take it home. She got so mad she ran away from them and "drive" home (when I said you drove home? she said no i DRIVE home...) then the cops pulled her over but they didn't take her to jail... Is this a sign of the lies to come?
So I know I've been slacking on my blogging. I started a weight loss blog that I have only shared with a few people. But I'm now ready to share with everyone. I don't know I guess I thought I was hiding the fact that I am over weight when clearly you can all see it...so I post healthy recipes and tips. Let me know if you have a healthy recipe you want to share!

Who has time to feed kids..let them do it themselves
This is what happens when you spend too much time on facebook in the morning. Last thing I knew I made oatmeal for breakfast and left it on the kitchen table for the girls...and p.s. this is the puppy we got for Irelynns birthday being fed oatmeal out of Cy's spoon. He's a really good dog a german shep/lab mix

My Fashion Desginer turns 6!
So my baby turned 6 on saturday. I had a meeting with her teacher on friday to discuss her progress in school which is not good in reading and writing but awesome in drawing and social skills. Who needs to read when you can make outfits like this out of your birthday present tissue?

I can't wait for her to get older so she can dress me. Preferably not in tissue though (don't want to play pick a boo with my wobbaly bits...) and here is the cake Troy decorated

Kalaya's Bday

We started off the day just the way any birthday should...with CAKE
Then we went to Irelynn's school for her Halloween party or excuse me " Fall festival" Wouldn't want to offend any of you liberals (p.s. I HATE liberals)
Then she wore herself out playing in the playhouse in the garage. (look amongst the garbage for her)
Then off for a new hair do
Is it bad that my 3 year old has foil in her hair?
As you can tell by her inapproiate facial expression this is her favorite part
Wah-lah! Cotton Candy pink. She loves it and I am embarassed that I let her dye her hair at 3. But I think she looks cute and why should I care that I get glares from other moms who would never dream of getting their kids hair done?

Well...
Well...my 30 days didn't go so great apparently I guess I have to start over! I just have had so many boob problems I figured you didn't want to hear about them everyday so I waited until my clogged ducts and mastitis cleared up. I did have to give up my mom of the year award when I let Cy fall asleep in the shower dont judge I needed a break so I could clean a little. I was trying to keep him awake until Kalaya went to preschool and I like putting my babies in the shower because I know they won't drown and it gives me a break. They have all loved it and Cy loved it a little too much! And I found out I'm allergic to Shrimp...I have the biggest hives and my chubby arms and hands are so swollen I feel like my forearms are choking out my hands. They're like sausages which makes typing not so fun!
